தந்தை பெரியார் திராவிடர் கழகத்தின் வளர்ச்சிப் பாதையில் - மற்றொரு மைல்கல்லைத் தொட்டிருக்கிறது ‘திருப்பூர் தமிழர் எழுச்சி விழா’ - இதை உறுதிப்படுத்தியிருக்கிறது என்றே சொல்லலாம். பரபரப்பும், மக்கள் கூட்டமும், போக்குவரத்து நெரிசல்களும் நிறைந்த வணிக நகரான திருப்பூர், கடந்த அக். 1, 2 தேதிகளில், கருஞ்சட்டைப் படையினரின் எழுச்சியையும் கண்டு வியந்து நின்றது. திருப்பூரில் திரும்புமிடமெல்லாம், எழுச்சி விழாவைப் பற்றி சுவரெழுத்துக்களைப் பார்க்க முடிந்தது. பலநாள் உறக்கத்துக்கு விடை கொடுத்து கழகத்தின் செயல்வீரர்கள், செலுத்திய உழைப்பின் ஆற்றலை, இந்த சுவரெழுத்துக்கள் உணர்த்திக் கொண்டிருந்தன. முக்கிய பகுதிகள் - சந்திப்புகள், சாலைகளில், தமிழர் எழுச்சி விழாவை பறைசாற்றும் வண்ணமயமான தட்டிகள், அவைகளில் அறிவு ஆசான் தந்தை பெரியார் படங்கள்.

மாவட்டக் கழகத் தலைவர் சு.துரைசாமி, கழகத்துக்குக் கிடைத்த, மதிப்பு மிக்க வலிமை, விழா அறிவிப்பு வந்தவுடனேயே, விளம்பரப் பலகைகளைத் தயாரிக்கும் பணிகளில், தீவிரமாக இறங்கிவிட்டார். நூற்றுக்கணக்கான விளம்பரத் தட்டிகளும், அவரது இல்லத்திலே உருவாக்கப்பட்டு, கழக ஓவியர்களின் கைவண்ணத்தில் உயிரூட்டப்பட்டு, நகரத்தின் மய்யப் பகுதிகளில் இடம் பிடித்து விட்டன. திருப்பூர் கழகச் செயல்வீரர்களின் பாசறையான வெள்ளியங்காடு பெரியார் படிப்பகத்தில், ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் கழகத் தோழர்கள் கூடுவார்கள். ஒவ்வொருநாள் பணிகளையும் திட்டமிட்டு, ஒழுங்குபடுத்தி, களத்தில் இறங்கினர். திருப்பூர் நகரத்தின் வணிக நிறுவனங்கள் ஒவ்வொன்றிலும், கழகத் தோழர்கள், ‘தமிழர் எழுச்சி விழா’ அழைப்பிதழ்களைத் தந்து விழா நிகழ்ச்சிகளைப் பரப்பி, நன்கொடை திரட்டினர்.

களப்பணி ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் பொள்ளாச்சி பிரகாசு, வழக்கம் போலவே, பத்து நாட்களுக்கு முன்பே, திருப்பூர் வந்து, களப்பணிகளைத் துவக்கி விட்டார். கழகப் பொதுச் செயலாளர் கோவை. இராமகிருட்டிணன் வழிகாட்டுதலில், களப்பணி ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் திருப்பூர் அங்ககுமார் தலைமையில், கழகச் செயல்வீரர்கள் பம்பரமாய் சுழன்று பணியாற்றினர். அவர்கள் சிந்திய வியர்வையின் வெற்றியை அக்.1, 2 தேதிகளில் பார்க்க முடிந்தது. அக். 1-ம் தேதி காலை முதலே, பல்வேறு பகுதிகளிலிருந்தும் கழகத்தினர் திரளத் துவங்கிவிட்டனர். நகரில் கருப்புச் சட்டைகளின் நடமாட்டம்! மாலையில், வேன்களிலும், பேருந்துகளிலும், தோழர்கள் குவியத் தொடங்கினர்.

அக். 1-ம் தேதி மாலை 5.30 மணியளவில் சந்தைப் பேட்டை பல்லடம் சாலையில் டைமண்ட் தியேட்டர் வாயிலிலிருந்து பேரணி புறப்பட்டது. களப்பணி ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் சென்னை கேசவன் தலைமையில், கழகத் தோழர்கள் கோபி, இராம. இளங்கோவன், கொளத்தூர் டைகர் பாலன், திண்டுக்கல் துரை, சம்பத் முன்னிலையில், தோழர் மதுரை மாயாண்டி, பேரணியைத் துவக்கி வைக்க பேரணி புறப்பட்டது. மேச்சேரி, பெரியார் கலைக் குழுவைச் சார்ந்த கழகத் தோழர்கள், கருப்புச்சட்டை அணிந்து, ஒயிலாட்டம் ஆடி வந்தனர். கூர்மையான ஆணிகள் பொருத்தப்பட்ட படுக்கையில் கடவுள் இல்லை என்று உடலில் எழுதிக் கொண்டு, கழகத் தோழர் அதில் படுத்து வந்தார். கடவுள் இல்லை என்ற பதாகைகளை ஏந்திக் கொண்டு, வாயிலும், நாக்கிலும், அலகுகளைக் குத்திக் கொண்டு தோழர்கள் வந்தனர். கழக மகளிர் கையில் தீச்சட்டிகளை ஏந்திக் கொண்டு, தீச்சட்டி ஏந்துவது கடவுள் சக்தியல்ல என்பதை மக்களுக்குக் காட்டி வந்தனர். “தீச்சட்டி இங்கே; மாரியாத்தாள் எங்கே?” என்ற முழக்கம் மக்களைச் சிந்திக்க வைத்தது. தொடர்ந்து, தோழர்கள் அலகு குத்தி கார் இழுத்து வந்தனர். குண்டு குழிகளாகிக் கிடந்த திருப்பூர் சாலைகளில், கடும் வலியோடு மக்களை மூட நம்பிக்கையிலிருந்து திருத்த, கழகத் தோழர்கள் நடத்திக் காட்டிய இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி கண்களில் குருதியை வர வழைத்துவிட்டது. மக்களை மூட நம்பிக்கையிலிருந்து திருத்துவதற்காக எந்தப் பயனையும் எதிர்பாராத பெரியார் இயக்கத்தின் சமுதாயக் கவலை மெய் சிலிர்க்க வைத்தது.

குழந்தைகளாகவும், சிறுவர்களாகவும், பெண்களாகவும், இளைஞர்களாகவும், 200 “பெரியார்கள்” பேரணியில் வந்த காட்சி அனைவரையும் ஈர்த்தது. அனைவரும் பெரியார் வேடமணிந்து வந்தனர். பெரியார் பிஞ்சுகளும் பெரியாராக வந்த காட்சி, தலைமுறையாக பெரியாரியம் வாழ்வியலாகி வருவதை உறுதிப்படுத்தியது. கம்பீரமாக கழகக் கொடிகளை ஏந்தி, கருஞ்சட்டையுடன், எழுச்சி முழக்கமிட்டு, கழகத் தோழர்கள் அணி வகுத்து வந்த காட்சியைக் காண, வீதியின் இரு புறத்திலும் மக்கள் கூட்டம்.

7.30 மணியளவில் பேரணி - திருப்பூர் நகர்மன்றத்தை அடைந்தது. மன்றத்துக்கு அருகே திறந்த வெளியில், குத்தூசி குருசாமி நூற்றாண்டு விழா நிகழ்ச்சிகள் துவங்கின. மேச்சேரி கழகத் தோழர்கள் மேடையில் ஒயிலாட்ட நிகழ்ச்சியை நடத்திக் காட்டினர். அவர்களுக்கு, கழகத் துணைத் தலைவர் ஆனூர் ஜெகதீசன் ஆடை போர்த்தி பாராட்டினார். தோழர் நெய்க்கடை நடராசன் அரங்கில், திண்டுக்கல் சக்தி மகளிர் குழுவினரின் பறையாட்டம் எழுச்சியுடன் நடந்தது. பொதுச்செயலாளர் விடுதலை இராசேந்திரன் தலைமையில் தோழர்கள் மலர் ஆறுமுகம், சன். பாண்டியநாதன், மா. இராமசாமி, மேட்டுப்பாளையம் சந்திரசேகர், வீ.குமார் முன்னிலையில், தோழர் வெ.ஆறுச்சாமி வரவேற்புரையுடன் குத்தூசி குருசாமி நூற்றாண்டு விழா கருத்தரங்கம் துவங்கியது. வழக்கறிஞர் குமாரதேவன், சி.கோவிந்த சாமி (மார்க்சியக் கம் யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சி), குருவிக்கரம்பை வேலு, நாஞ்சில் சம்பத் (ம.தி.மு.க.), மு.ஈசுவரன் (ம.தி.மு.க.), திருச்சி செல்வேந்திரன் (தி.மு.க.) ஆகியோர் உரையாற்றினர். விழாவில் குருவிக்கரம்பை வேலு எழுதிய ‘வால்மீகி இராமாயணம்’ நூலை, திருச்சி செல்வேந்திரன் வெளியிட, கழகத் தலைவர் கொளத்தூர் மணி பெற்றுக் கொண்டார். கருத்தரங்கத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து, மீண்டும் திண்டுக்கல் சக்தி மகளிர் கலைக் குழுவினரின் நிகழ்ச்சிகள் நடைபெற்றன. தோழர் இராசேசுக் கண்ணா நன்றி கூற, நள்ளிரவு 12.30 மணியளவில் முதல் நாள் நிகழ்ச்சிகள் நிறைவடைந்தன. மைதானம் முழுதும் கூட்டம் நிரம்பி வழிந்தது. 12.30 மணி வரை தோழர்கள், உணவையும் மறந்து, நிகழ்ச்சிகளை, கட்டுப்பாட்டோடு செவிமடுத்தது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

புலவர் குழந்தை நூற்றாண்டு

அக்டோபர் 2-ம் தேதி காலை 9.30 மணியளவில் இரண்டாம் நாள் நிகழ்வுகள், நகர் மன்ற அரங்குக்குள், ‘பல்கலை கொள்கலன்’ முத்துக்கூத்தன் நினைவு அரங்கில், தலித் சுப்பையா குழுவினர் வழங்கிய ‘விடுதலைக் குரல்’ எழுச்சி இசையுடன் துவங்கியது. நிகழ்ச்சி துவங்கும் போதே, அரங்கம் முழுதும் கூட்டம் நிரம்பி வழிந்தது. கருத்தாழமிக்க சிந்தனையைத் தூண்டும் எழுச்சி இசையையும், கருத்து விளக்கங்களையும் ‘தலித்’ சுப்பையா, வழங்கியதை, பார்வையாளர்கள் மிகவும் வரவேற்றனர். 11 மணியளவில் கழகத் துணைத் தலைவர் ஆனூர் ஜெகதீசன் தலைமையில் புலவர் குழந்தை நூற்றாண்டு விழா நிகழ்ச்சிகள் துவங்கின. பல்லடம் திருமூர்த்தி, க.கரு மலையப்பன், கருணாகரன், மு.தியாகராசன், நாத்திகன், சிவக்குமார், கி.தமிழ்ச்செல்வன் முன்னிலை வகிக்க, பொள்ளாச்சி மனோகரன் வரவேற்புரையாற்றினார். ஆனூர் ஜெகதீசன் தலைமை உரையைத் தொடர்ந்து, புலவர் செந்தலை கவுதமன், பேராசிரியர் மண்டோதரி, நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் கே.சுப்பராயன், கோவை மு.இராமநாதன் ஆகியோர் புலவர் குழந்தை பற்றியும் ராவண காவியம் பற்றியும் உரையாற்றினர். சிலம்பொலி செல்லப்பன் தொடக்கவுரையாற்றினார்.

1957-ல் சட்ட எரிப்புப் போரில் சிறை சென்ற முதுபெரும் பெரியார் தொண்டர்கள் மா.திருமூர்த்தி, ச.காளிமுத்து, கு.ஆறுமுகம் ஆகியோருக்கு கழக சார்பில் கழகத் தலைவர் கொளத்தூர் மணி ஆடை போர்த்தி சிறப்பு செய்தார். மா.திருமூர்த்தி உணர்ச்சியான ஏற்புரை நிகழ்த்தினார். புலவர் குழந்தை அவர்களின் மகள் சமதர்மம் காலை விழாவில் இறுதி வரை பங்கேற்றார். கழக சார்பில் கழகத் தலைவர் கொளத்தூர் மணி ஆடை போர்த்தி சிறப்பு செய்தார். பகல் 3 மணி வரை நிகழ்ச்சிகள் நீடித்தன. அரங்கம் நிரம்பி வழிந்தது.

பெண்கள் நீதிமன்றம்

4 மணியளவில் பரபரப்பான பெண்கள் நீதிமன்றம் துவங்கியது. அரசியல்வாதி, மதவாதி, பத்திரிகை - தொலைக்காட்சி, திரைப்படத் தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் என்று, ஆண் குற்றவாளிகளைக் கூண்டில் ஏற்றி பெண் வழக்கறிஞர்கள் தமயந்தி, பெங்களூர் கலைச்செல்வி, சூலூர் தமிழ்ச்செல்வி ஆகியோர் வழக்குகளைப் பதிவு செய்து வாதிட்டனர். சாமியாராக - சங்கராச்சாரி உருவத்தில், ஆண் குற்றவாளி கூண்டில் ஏறியபோது பலத்த கரவொலி எழுந்தது. மதுரை வெண்மணி, நீதிமன்ற பணியாளராகவும், திருப்பூர் ரஞ்சிதா, பரமேசுவரி ஆகியோர் நீதிமன்ற ஊழியர்களாகவும் இருந்தனர். நடுவராக பெரியார் பேருரையாளர் சக்குபாய் குற்றச்சாட்டுகளை விளக்கிப் பேசி, தீர்ப்புகளை வழங்கினார். அரங்கிற்குள் கூட்டம் நிரம்பி, உட்கார இடமின்றி, நின்று கொண்டே மக்கள், கருத்துக்களைக் கேட்டனர். 7 மணியளவில் அரங்கிற்குள், நீதிமன்ற விசாரணை முடிந்தவுடன், திறந்த வெளியில், ‘குடிஅரசு 1926’ நூல் வெளியீட்டு நிகழ்ச்சி துவங்கியது. மைதானம் முழுதும், நெருக்கமான மக்கள் திரள். தலித் சுப்பையா எழுச்சி இசையுடன் நிகழ்ச்சி துவங்கியது. தந்தை பெரியார் திராவிடர் கழக மாவட்டத் தலைவர் சு.துரைசாமி வரவேற்புரையாற்ற பா.இராமச்சந்திரன், ந.பிரகாசு, க.அகிலன், முகில் இராசு, மா.சண்முகம் முன்னிலையில் நிகழ்ச்சிகள் துவங்கின.

பொதுச்செயலாளர்கள் கோவை இராமகிருட்டிணன், விடுதலை இராசேந்திரன், ஆதித் தமிழர் பேரவைத் தலைவர் இரா. அதியமான் ஆகியோர் உரையாற்றியதைத் தொடர்ந்து இந்திய கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சியின் மூத்த தலைவர் ஆர்.நல்லக் கண்ணு, ‘குடிஅரசு 1926’ தொகுப்பை வெளியிட இயக்குனர் மணிவண்ணன் பெற்றுக் கொண்டார். தோழர் நல்லக்கண்ணு, இயக்குனர் சீமான், இயக்குனர் மணிவண்ணன் ஆகியோர் எழுச்சி உரையாற்றினர். இறுதியில் கழகத் தலைவர் கொளத்தூர் மணி நிறைவுரையாற்றினார். அவர் உரை துவங்கிய சில நிமிடங்களில், மழை கொட்டத் தொடங்கியது. மழையில் நனைந்தபடியே அவர் உரையாற்ற, தோழர்கள் கேட்டனர். மாநாட்டின் வெற்றிக்கு முழுமையாக உழைத்த, களப் பணி ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் இல. அங்க குமார் நன்றியுடன், இரவு 12.30 மணியளவில் நிகழ்ச்சிகள் முடிவடைந்தன.

தந்தை பெரியார் திராவிடர் கழகம் இரண்டு நாள் மாநாட்டை இப்போது தான் முதல்முறையாக நடத்தியது குறிப் பிடத்தக்கது. மாநாட்டு நிகழ்ச்சிகள் அனைத்தும் திட்டமிட்டபடி மிகச் சிறப்பாக நடந்தன. கட்டுப்பாடு, ஒழுங்குடன், கருத்துரைகளைக் கேட்க திரண்டிருந்த கூட்டத்தின் சிறப்பை மாநாட்டில் பங்கேற்ற தலைவர்கள் மிகவும் பாராட்டினர். கழகத் தலைவர் பொதுக் செயலாளர்கள், பொறுப்பாளர்களுடன் கலந்து பேசி உருவாக்கி அறிவித்த செயல்திட்டத்தினை, நிறை வேற்றிட, புதிய உற்சசாகத்துடன், கழகத் தோழர்கள் விடைபெற்றுச் சென்றனர்.

அக்டோபர் மாதம் முழுதும் - ‘பெரியார் முழக்கம்’ சந்தா சேர்த்தல்

நவம்பர் 26 - அரியலூர் மாவட்டத்தில் சட்ட எரிப்புப் போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்ட மாவீரர்களுக்கு கல்வெட்டு திறப்பு

நவம். 28 - மனித மலத்தை மனிதர் சுமப்பதை எதிர்த்து ஆதித் தமிழர் பேரவை நடத்தும் ரயில் மறியல் போராட்டத்தில கழகத் தோழர்கள் பங்கெடுத்தல்.

I read the interview of Director Seeman in keetru.com and wish to pose the following questions to this "revolutionary"? a) Seeman asks "Endha Pappaan Anju Acre nilam vecchu vivasaayam panninaan?". My reply is all the lands are with your Nayakkars and Mudaliars. In Tamil Nadu which Nayakkan and Mudalian worked in the fields? EVR ennikku vayalla velai senjaan? Half of Erode belonged to him and he was doing "Thinnai Panjayatthu". It is these bloody fellows who are talking about social justice and upliftment of SC/STs. b) Seeman talks elaborately about Tamil and the need for speaking in Tamil in Tamil Nadu. But it was his leader the "Erottu Fraudu" EVR who said "Tamil" is a kattumirandi language and "I am a Kannadian" in his biography written by Sami Chidambaranar. I've seen Seeman often referring himself as "Periyar's Grandson". If he is indeed Periyar's Grandson, why can't Seeman go to Karnataka and pluck hair (Mayiru Pudungaradhu - in Seeman's own language) there? c) "Paracchigalellam ravikkai podarathunaala dhaan naattula thuni vilai yeri pocchu" - sonnadhu none other than Seeman's grandfather EVR. Seeman represents the powerful backward classes of Tamil Nadu (mostly Telugus and Kannadigas) who want to occupy each and every sphere of life in Tamil Nadu by talking about the false concept of "Dravidian" and "Dravida Naadu". Why can't Seeman go to Karnataka CM or Andhra CM and tell that he's Periyar's Grandson and solve the Cauvery and Mullaperiyar issues? Anga pona seruppaala adippaan? People in Andhra and Karnataka have united on the basis of language. It is the Erottu Fraudu EVR and his disciples (Kannadigas and Telugus) who duped Tamil Nadu by talking about the false concept of Dravida Naadu etc., In Seeman's understanding, people like EVR, Annadurai (Telugu), Arcot Veeraswamy (who speaks Telugu even with the dog in his house as confirmed by his leader Kalaignar) are all Pacchai Tamizhargal. When people have nothing to do they start thinking in the lines of “En mozhi”, “En naadu”, “En mannu”, “En makkal” etc.. People have enough headaches already than to hear such craps. It is not wise of me to talk like this but I cannot help saying – try to be either a film maker or a social worker but stop being a preacher. And don’t justify your reason for making films. Those who make masala movies also have their own “porulaadara thevai” like you. Their motive of amassing wealth is as good as yours – enabling you to support your so called brothers. Only people who have doubts about their own actions try to show that they are doing better than the rest of the group. Talking loudly, fiercely, criticizing others, asking questions about others sentiments and beliefs – and above all the statement “Pesi Pesiye thaan makkala maathanum” just shows how big an ego he has. Just because you are in a media industry, you read so many books, you have your brother's support does not allow you to abuse others and start questioning about anything.

First of all the name widow itself should be removed from the dictionery. A female who lost her husband at whatever age it may be, should be instead of keeping away, be given more importance and responsibility to keep her engaged in all our house activities so that it will be a great relief for her while mixing with people and she will be away from the feeling of lomliness/isolation. If she is below the age of 50, remarriage is always possible atleast to take care of her at later ages. A man or woman in our society look /see a widow with less importance. Will we do the same if our own sister is a widow? Are we seeing our mother with less importance when she become/became a widow? Then why not other woman ? Sea changes we made in science and technology but we have to change our ownselves. When it will happen ?. It should happen with the present generation atleast. Similarly the story in the Jails. Raghupathy's question whether the crime's intensity or the caste plays the determining role is apt. I congratulate Raghupathy for the paper.
